A player wins the round by creating a standard mahjong
hand this is known as creating a Mahjong.
A Mahjong consists of a number of melds, depending on the
number of tiles in play, and a pair. The number of melds
required is 4 in 13-tile and 5 in 16-tile variations of

If the dealer wins the game they they stay and play
the dealer in the next round.
If the dealer loses then the player to the dealers right
will become the new dealer for the next round. The player's
wind then becomes the Game Wind.
After each player has had a go at being the dealer and
the wind has returned to the East then a round is complete
and the Prevailing Wind will change. A complete game of
mahjong finished after 4 rounds have been played. This is
when the North Prevailing Wind round is over.
That's all there is to it. It's not too difficult when
you break it down into small chunks. However, when playing
mahjong online, remember that a lot of the processes are
automated and the dealers and winds are taken care of for

about is creating the best hand possible!
